About Me

Back in early 2006 I realised that I was a 'thirty something' drinking wine without any real knowledge on the subject. I was literally 'clueless about wine'.

Most of the literature I had previously seen made wine fairly pompous and inaccessible.

This spurred me on to find a way to make wine more fun and relate it to my everyday life.

I started off by recording all the wines I drank that year on an interactive map of the world with basic tasting notes. This naturally progressed to a wine blog which I continue to scribble, and hope you will enjoy reading.
